Organic Bloody Butcher red dent corn grown on our farm in Grundy county, Illinois. The corn has never left the farm. It was grown, harvested, cleaned and ground here. It's a non-GMO open pollinated heirloom variety and certified organic. The harder starch in this dent variety gives it a grittier texture than our blue flour cornmeal. Can be used for cornbread or grits and other baking uses.
