Kari is an aboriginal name meaning "smoke." Kari and her baby Kangaroo, which are called "joeys," live in the bush in Australia, right around Alice Springs, a town at the center of the continent. Ever since the thylacine (Australian Hyena) went extinct, kangaroos have been living a leisurely life of eating grass and boxing on their hind legs! No predators. No worries.
