Xezo Freelancer Weighty Brass Rollerball Pen, Venetian Blue Color (Freelancer Venetian Blue R);

The Freelancer Series of rollerball pens are produced in a limited edition, with each pen individually numbered. The exquisite Venetian blue color of the pens was inspired by a Venetian glass sculpture on the Murano islands in Italy. Each pen is made of solid brass with chrome plated solid brass fittings. The weight balanced body of the pen is designed for superior comfort and grip due to the tapered bulbous shape of the barrel. The barrel and cap are adorned with the guilloche (diamond-cut) pattern, which is applied with great precision to the surface of each pen. The unique Venetian blue metallic finish of the pen utilizes a multi-layer high-gloss lacquering technique. After each layer of the lacquer is applied, the barrels of the pen are heat-dried and then manually polished to achieve a highly reflective surface with a metallic effect. For durability, the finished surface of each pen is also coated with multiple layers of translucent lacquer. The end result of these processes is a luxurious finish with a multitude of depth and hues, which change slightly depending on the lighting. Each pen has a screw-on cap that secures on the pen barrel in capped position. However, to post the cap on the barrel's end, one must press down on the top of cap.
