There are 2 pin on the chainsaw sharpener for fixing the chainsaw bar. The second pin is adjustable.The distance between these 2 pin (holes) is about 0.7-1.3inch.

Tips:
1. You also can put some bar oil on the sharpening stone inside the sharpener. so you can push very lightly and very briefly when honing the chain. It will also extend the life of the stone and chain.

2. For the safety of the chain saw, you need to gently press the sharpener to avoid excessive sharpening and damage the sprocket and whetstone. When start the chainsaw, press the foot of the sharpener against a solid object, applying light pressure to let the chainsaw reach the whetstone for 3-5 seconds.
3. If you feel that the inside of the chain saw blade is not sharp enough after use the chainsaw sharpener. You can use this small mounted gringding stone to grind the inside of the chainsaw bar.
