NOT for older plastic models or non-unibody models, macOS Sierra 10.13 is compatible with Unibody Aluminum Models only.
Older computer models are not compatible and won't work. For example, 2006-2008 Plastic or non-unibody Core2Duo Macbook won't work, as they have older incompatible graphics hardware and do not meet the minimum requirement for installation of MacOS 10.13.
Just check the year number printed on the back / bottom of your computer.
