Mountain Man;

After watching my wife die right in front of my eyes, I had no interest in ever putting myself through the rigors of life and love again. I wanted no part in the happily ever after fairytale and to make sure there was never any chance of it happening, I moved to the mountains. Away from life and anything to do with it.
And then one night it happened, it started with a scream in the middle of the night, a scream that was followed by the most intense sense of knowing. Something as a trained marine I knew I couldn't ignore.
