2, This adapter supports common wired headphones well, but for original Apple earphone, it supports phone call and listen music only, remote volume control is not supported.  

3, If you face compatibility issues on Android smartphones, please try to open "OTG" feature at phone setting page, it will solve problem at many conditions. For example, Vivo NEX.

4,  If your smartphone has a USB C port together with a 3.5 mm audio port,  this adapter may not support phone calls, for example, Galaxy S8.
