Paul's Pail Riceberry is a natural purple rice from Thailand. Each bag is 1.1 pounds (2.2 pounds total in the 2-pack). The bags are vacuum sealed for freshness and will be very hard due to the compressed package. Simply cut open the bag to break the vacuum seal, which will loosen the rice. You may notice that the water used to cook the rice will turn purple; this is normal.
