The T-54 Soviet primary tank was of the 1st generation. Production began after the end of world War II. It was used by both the Soviet army and the countries of the Eastern bloc, including the people's polish army. The vehicle was produced under license in many countries cooperating with the Soviet Union. The 1: 28 scale model created by COBI faithfully reproduces the elements and details of a real vehicle. It has numerous movable elements such as rotating towers and a barrel that can be raised and lowered, a moving machine gun, open hatches or spinning wheels and caterpillars. The caterpillars even make a characteristic squeaking resembling the sound of a real tank. The set also includes two figures of tankers. The model was created for play, exhibition and collecting.
