Keep game off the ground and away from potential scavengers and 3. Increase the velocity and speed of snare trap closure. Instructions: The Vigilant Trails Type-1 Survival Snare Trigger is composed of two pieces - the Top Support Arm with Trigger and Bottom Support Arm. The Top Support Arm is attached to the Engine. The Bottom Support Arm is attached to the Anchor. The Top and Bottom Arms connect to each other by way of a small metal finger. The Trigger is set-off as the animal attempts to free itself from the snare. Likewise, the biting (nibbling) motion of a fish can also be enough force to set-off the trigger, helping to set the hook.
