- About f150 third brake light: Black Housing Smoke Lens, Super Bright full LED lights. Don't have to worry about incandescent light bulbs blowing or fading overtime. This 3rd brake light comes with ONE PLUG and it is direct plug and play. NOTE: If your f150 high mount brake light does not come with the plug, please just cut the plug to wire. Wiring Tips: Black Wire (negative) + Red Wire (Positive), Red light works.Black Wire (negative) + White Wire (Positive), White light works;
- Installation: It is easy to install. Please mount the gasket on the body of the vehicle where the light will be attached. That way it makes it easier to line up the two screws used to attached the light to their mounting holes. Then, use the install rubber "O" rings over the screws after you put the screws in the light mounting holes. That helps with aligning the light into the opening in the roof panel where the light mounts;
- Waterproof: This f-150 third brake light includes 1pc foam gasket and is generally waterproof. The gasket is a thick foam to prevent water from entering the cab. Please kindly put a little silicone or some clear RTV all across the top to help seal it just in case it leaks into the light or where the wires are;
- Tips: 1. The adhesive on the foam is once installed it does not come off; 2. Screws are not included, please save your old screws, thanks; Auto Parts, Uncle Sam.
