Pothos (epipremnum aureum) is one of those tried &-true houseplants almost everyone has or has had. In fact, it's one of the most popular houseplants available. If you grow this variety up a totem & give it lots of light & warmth, you’ll find the leaves can grow quite large. In fact, outdoors in frost-free areas, the leaves can reach 12" wide or more. Pothos requires no special care indoors; it tolerates low light (but grows well in medium- & high-light spots, as well), low humidity, & the occasional missed watering. That said, pothos prefers moist (but not wet or saturated) soil, so it's best to water it when the top " or so of the potting mix is dry.
