Our Beef Achilles Smoked Beef Tendons are long and flexible. Great for any size dog over 10lbs.

Tendons are tough bands of fibrous connective tissue that usually connects muscle to bone and is capable of withstanding tension. They are essentially cartilage, which means they super high in collagen--excellent for joint mobility.

Unless your dog has a sensitive stomach, it's a good idea to rotate your dog treats and chews. Dogs get bored just like we do. Sancho and Lola seem to get more excited with chews when we alternate them

Our beef tendons will provide the same chewing satisfaction as rawhides but a LOT more natural and healthier. They will be slightly stringy. This is normal. These muscle fibers are fully digestible. (Sancho gets a gag-reflex eating some chews, he does fine eating these.) The tendon fibers have 'dental floss action' and help clean tarter build-up on your pups teeth!

If your dog is finicky and you are not sure he may like these plain ones, you may want to try these smoked versions. They are smoked with real hickory woods chips, not artificial liquid smoke flavoring you find on most smoked dog bones and chews.

PLEASE NOTE: some of these tendons have a bluish-black spot on them. It is similar to the tattoos you see on pig ears. It is a harmless food-grade tattoo required by the USDA to mark cattle as "Black Angus".
