What membrane filter pore size should I use for sterilization?
Regardless of the membrane filter material, always use a 0.22 μm pore size membrane filter as the final filter for any sterilizing filtration.

0-10ml Sample Volume use 13mm Syringe Filters;

- STERILE SYRINGE FILTERS: Our syringe filter is manufactured for reliable performance, which is sterile Polyethersulfone (PES) needle filters. Each lot of syringe filter membrane is certified by HPLC Extractable Test.
- FILTER DIMENSION: It is 33mm membrane diameter and pore size:0.22um, pack of 10. Suitable pore size structure for lab sterilization of small volume samples.
- BACTERIAL CHALLENGE: LRV>7(ATCC 19146, ASTM bacterial challenge test)for each lot of 0.22um pore size membrane. < 0.25 EU/mL or < 2.15EU/device (LAL) for each lot of devices pressure required to empty the syringe.
- HIGH THROUGHPUT: The larger filter surface area increases flow rate and throughput. It also makes it easier to filter solutions because it reduces the pressure required to empty the syringe.
- BIOSAFETY: Meets USPBiological Reactivity test for Class VI Plastics. Better to ensure the accuracy of the experiment.
