1. Not suited for polarized plugs. If you have a grounded (3-prong) plug where the two flat prongs are the same size, it fits in this outlet perfectly. But, for the two blade plugs where one is larger than the other (polarized), it does not go all the way into the outlet. The outlet still provides power to the device, but one side of it sticks out about 3-4mm from the wall plate. There is a new wifi outlet which suits all plugs. 2. For the moment, it isn't compatible with Apple HomeKit, Samsung Smartthings.
3. If the wifi wall socket is installed correctly, the indicator light will be on. It is visible in normal light but might be hard to see in a brightly lit room. When connect to wifi, please confirm the indicator light blinks rapidly.
4. Only support 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, not support 5.0GHz Wi-Fi.When you set wifi name and password, please use numeric and letters, don't use special symbols.
