Selric braided flat waxed thread is made from high quality polyester yarn textile with good tensile strength, it can't be broken with bare hands. It won't fray/ unravel when cut, wax give smooth end, to finish project you can melt end of lace. One of the advantage of flat waxed thread is that it will lay down nicely and look consistent even if you don't knock out the groove when you do some leather DIY work unlike round waxed thread.
