The main puzzle is made of 8 mm thick EVA foam with state shaped puzzle pieces that fit snugly together. The puzzle covers all the 50 states of the country across 46 puzzle pieces (some of the smaller states have been clubbed together so that little fingers can find it easier to maneuver them as well). The map print also marks out the oceans, Gulf of Mexico and the Great Lakes. Once the children have solved the puzzle to learn the states, they can go on to the flags and stickers. The toy pack comes with a sticker sheet that has the capitals and the fun fact of each state lined up together to make learning easier. These stickers are to be pasted on either side of the plastic flag provided - 50 for each of the 50 states and 1 for the country capital. Each state has a slit provided to host the plastic flag. Guiding instruction provided within the box helps kids place flags on the states accurately. The map is made of 8 mm foam base that makes the product long lasting and easier to handle.
