Patch 5 inch Space Shuttle Discovery Mission STS-51D - MOC 1985 Vintage NASA;

Attractive embroidered patch measures 5 inches across and 4 inches tall, displaying the NASA emblem for Space Shuttle Discovery mission STS-51D. This is an original patch produced in 1985 at the time of the launch and is still sealed in its original package. Patch was produced by Swissartex, which had the contract to produce patches for the Kennedy Space Center visitor center at that time. This patch would look great on a jacket, shirt, backpack, etc., or framed for display. This mission patch was recently featured on Dustin's vest in Season 3 of the television show Stranger Things, although the size may be a little larger than what he wore. Better for an adult size costume. From what I can see of screen captures, the patch on his vest is a slightly smaller version that is long out of production.
