Design: This set of Anglican prayer beads is made with beautiful Swarovski or Czech pearls for the week beads, ornate antique copper beads for the cruciform and invitatory bead and finished off with a beautiful antique copper Celtic cross. Available in multiple pearl colors. (see second photo)
Materials: The metal wire is epoxy coated copper which will NEVER tarnish or change colors. The pearls are genuine 6 mm Swarovski or Czech pearls. The cruciform beads are 8mm filigree beads. The cross at the bottom measures 45mm x 27mm.
Carefully Crafted: Each bead and pearl in this prayer bead set has been individually and carefully wired rather than just strung on string. This gives the prayer beads a distinct feel between each of the week beads. It also ensures durability.
History of Anglican Prayer Beads: Since the earliest of times, people have used pebbles or a string of knots or beads on a cord to keep track of prayers offered to God. Virtually every major religious tradition in the world uses some form of prayer beads. The 33 bead Anglican Episcopal Rosary was conceived through the inspirations of a contemplative prayer group. The design incorporates several elements from both the Orthodox Chotki or prayer rope and the Catholic Rosary.
The prayer beads will arrive in a gift box with a booklet that has instructions as well as several sample prayers.
