The STP Tool is a handy, single-function tool geared specifically to fine tune the highly innovative pivot recently unveiled by famed knife designer RJ Martin. Incorporated into knives made by both Kershaw and Zero Tolerance, Martin’s oversized pivot features a hollow center that fans can actually look through to see the other side of their knives. Although the STP does not require adjustments, Kershaw committed to having a tool available for anyone who wanted to tweak his or her folder’s STP as neither a regular hex nor a torx tool could handle the task. The STP Tool is stainless steel with a titanium carbo-nitride coating guaranteeing its toughness, scratch resistance and durability. It can tighten or loosen the Martin STP by aligning its six machined pins with those on the STP. The pins are machined with the tool itself, making this indestructible gadget the stuff of dreams.
