- While holding the tab, remove the filter assembly from the dirt cup. To disassemble for a through cleaning, firmly grasp the filter assembly tab with one hand and mesh filter frame with the other. Turn the tab to the left (counterclockwise) to unlock from the mesh filter frame. To re-assemble the filter, insert the pleated filter into the mesh filter frame. While firmly holding the mesh filter frame, turn the tab to the right (clockwise) to clock the pieces together.
- NOTE: You may rinse the filter and frame in warm water to clean. The filter and frame need to be 100% dry before reuse. The key to maximum performance is having a clean filter. Cleaning the filter after each use will help your vacuum operate at peak efficiency.
