Instructions for Pot-in-Pot Cooking/Steaming:

• Take out the stainless steel pans from the holder
• Fill the pans with food, and cover it with the chosen lid (steaming lid for steaming food, or sealing lid for cooking or reheating).
• Encase the pans and the lid into the holder for easy insertion and removal of pans.
• Add water inside the cooker, and place the entire set in it.
• Start cooking as normal.

Disclaimer:

Insert Pans allow you to cook multiple dishes at the same time. However, Instant Pot 'Pot in Pot' (PIP) cooking using Insert Pans takes a little more time than usual because the steam generated from the liquid in the inner pot is used to build pressure and cook the food inside the pans. If you are new to 'Pot in Pot' (PIP) cooking, please note there will be a learning curve associated with this product. The User Manual that comes with the product is a good place to start.
