There are 7 tips to extend the life of your electrode pads.
1. Care for your skin.
Skin must be clean and dry. Dirty or oily skin will prevent electrode adhesion.
2. Properly Handle electrode pads.
DO NOT peel the electrode off by the wire. Remove the electrode pads lifting the edge of your electrode pads. Do not pull by wire. Avoid touching the gel as much as possible.
3. Hydrate electrode pads.
Wash adhesive gel for one second under cold running water. Shake off excess water. Be sure not to over saturate with water, as this will reduce the adhesive quality.
4. Brush electrode pads.
Use clean toothbrush in one direction to expose electrode stickiness to suddenly expose the underline layer to get great skin adhesion.
5. Rest electrode pads.
Give several minutes to air-dry your electrode and make sure that they can dry out naturally.
6. Store electrode pads properly.
After use, always put your pads onto AUVON electrodes pad holder and seal into polly bag.
7. Cool off electrode pads.
By leaving them in a cool environment for 24 hours, they can dry out and be back to a ready-to-use condition.
