Utilizing only the force of gravity to settle and hold the weighted blanket snugly in place, your body will be enveloped by a soothing sensation of pressure. Often, it is recommended to select a blanket weight that is 10% of your body weight, however, we have found that the right weight varies by individual, depending on how much pressure is desired. For this reason, we manufacture our blankets in 15lb, 17lb, and 20lb weights, making them suitable for most adults. If less weight or pressure is desired, simply leave any part of the blanket off to your side.
