The ASI 120 is a very fast and sensitive camera at a low price!
The camera delivers thirty frames per second (fps) at maximum resolution of 1280x960 pixels. They can be sent smoothly and rapidly to a laptop thanks to the high-speed USB.
Long exposure times of up to one thousand seconds are possible and at high sensitivity! The quantum efficiency of the black and white version is 75% in the green spectral range, i.e. 3/4 of absorbed photons in this wavelength are registered by the sensor!
You can connect the camera to your telescope using the T-2 thread cut into the camera housing, or with the included adapters - just the way you are used to with your eyepieces.
In addition to the software, delivery includes connecting cables and the 1.25" nosepiece, and even contains a 2.1mm lens that can be screwed directly into the camera body.
Supported resolutions:
- 1280x960 @ 60fps
- 1280x720 @ 98 fps
- 1280x600 @ 116 fps
- 1280x400 @ 168 fps
- 480x320 @ 196 fps
- 320x240 @ 254 fps
- 2x2 binning: 640X480 @ 45fps
