When hiking large peaks (or sometimes small ones) going slowly can help. We took inspiration from the swahili saying "pole, pole" (Go slowly, slowly) often used on Mt. Kilimnajaro to name our Tri-fold Trekking Poles the "Pohlay". Pohlay is the pronunciation used in the Swahlili saying.
