b.The router of fiber optic modem connect to RJ45-A port mark"1",(c.)RJ45-A the third port unmarked connect to network wall plate in the living room by wires embedded in the wall.（d.)The wall plate connect to the other RJ45-B adapter.（e.）The port of RJ45-B marked"1" connect to router.(f.）The port of RJ45-B marked"2" connect to the set-top box.
Set-top boxes and routers can work simultaneously.
Family Application Case 2:If fiber optic modem left one port and two rooms has network wires.And one of the room is equipped with a router, then using this two RJ45 adapter can make you surf Internet in another room
a.The last port of fiber optic modem connect to RJ45-A port marked"2",
b.The computer without router connect to RJ45-A port marked"1",
c.RJ45-A the third port unmarked connect to RJ45-B the third port unmarked by wires embedded in the wall.
