All this hardware is 1/2 pipe fittings. Wood and screws NOT included. You can create and customize the top of the shelf or bar! ****** Finish & Protection: Our hardware is new, unused, raw, black, malleable iron. We choose to leave the hardware raw and unfinished, giving our customers complete control of the final look. In the past, customers have opted to paint, powder coat, patina, or clear coat their hardware. We have a few simple suggestions to preserve and protect the hardware:
Remove any natural grease or residue that might be left on the hardware with household degreaser or white vinegar and a rag. Keep the raw industrial look by applying a clear coat to the hardware (Rust-Oleum 7701830 Crystal Clear Enamel) or spray paint the hardware. We recommend using paint that is suitable for metal.
