SmallRig Basic Cage Kit for Panasonic Lumix GH5/GH5S - 2050
This cage kit comes with SmallRig 2049 Cage for GH5/GH5S and Top Handle 1984, the latest form-fitting cage designed for Panasonic Lumix GH5/GH5S and an universal camera handle. Frame on top right side is modified to prevent blocking the front aperture dial and buttons. It provides extension possibilities for GH5/GH5S. Top handle can also be used along with other camera cages.
User Scenarios
Typical Handheld Shooting Setup: SmallRig Top Handle 1984 on the standard threads of cage, mount microphone on the cold shoe. Use magic arm to connect a monitor.
2-Hand Stabilization: Attach a NATO handle on the left side. SmallRig 1822 HDMI Cable Clamp can be locked on 1/4†threads. Wrist strap eyelets are reserved on top and bottom right side.
Use with Panasonic Lumix GH5/GH5S DMW XLR1 Microphone Adapter: Disarm the top handle, then mount SmallRig top handle Kit 2017, which provides even more standard threads and mounting points.
Fast Lock/Release on Tripods: Use the 1/4" and 3/8" threaded holes on bottom to connect quick release plates of different styles, including but not limited to Manfrotto, Vinten and Arca.

- NEW VERSION CAGE: The cage secures to the camera via a 1/4”-20 screw and each side features an m2.5 thread for further security, so the twisting problem is solved. NOTE: Please remove the strap ring on the side of the camera first and then tighten the two screws.
- HANDHELD SHOOTING MODE: Attached to the cage via two 1/4’’ screws, the top handle enables you to have a comfortable and stable handheld shooting experience.
- MOUNTING POINTS: Cold shoe mounts, NATO rail, multiple 1/4"-20 & 3/8"-16, and locating holes for ARRI standard are built into the camera cage and the top handle. You could have additional attachment options and DIY your camera kit.
