About the experiment: Take your favorite eye shadow and crush it into a fine powder. Scientists crush things with a mortar & pestle because powders have more surface area than solids – which dramatically increases their reaction rate when combined with other materials. Mix in some coconut oil (which binds the powder together) to create colorful paste. Extrude your mixture into the provided container with a piping bag (make your own piping bag by cutting the corner off a sandwich bag), then use the wand to streak your hair!
