Pre-Motor Filters are washable and can be washed with warm water and mild detergent. Please be sure they are completely dry prior to next use. The Post Motor filter is NOT washable.  Tap over garbage to keep clean. It is recommended to change out with new filters every 6 to 8 months depending on use and how often they are washed.
