Mannington MCT-20 vinyl flooring seam sealer is an easy to use, 1 part seam sealer designed for seam sealing all resilient vinyl flooring products with a vinyl wearlayer. A properly sealed seam will be as strong as the surface of the floor covering, and will remain intact for the life of the floor. The MCT-20 kit comes with everything needed to seal approx. 60 Ln. Ft. of flooring seams. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Prior to sealing, be certain all seams are clean, dry and free of adhesive contamination. Wipe down seam with included seam cleaning wipe. Puncture seal on tube, then securely fasten applicator tip assembly ( tip, cap, & gasket ) to the tube. Check the applicator flow rate on a scrap piece of flooring. If flow rate is too fast, insert cleaning wire (included), then pinch the applicator tip together with a pair of pliers to restrict flow to desired flow rate. Always leave cleaning wire in the applicator tip whenever the tube is not being used. Use the forefinger of one hand on the top flat portion of the tip to guide & ensure proper tip penetration. Use the other hand to control sealer flow. Always keep the applicator tip at a 45 degree angle while sealing. Allow seam sealer to dry for at least 1 hour for light foot traffic (avoiding direct seam contact) & 24 hours for a fully cured seam.
