2 Steps to remove damaged screws:

 Use the drill bit of the extractor to drill a hole into the screw

 Then flip the tool to the extractor side to remove the screw.

3 Steps to remove broken end water pipes:

Insert the extractor into the tubing.

Use the wrench to clamp the extractor and turn it counterclockwise.

Turn about 1/4 turn will feel a bit tight, then the extractor has bite off the tube. Continue to turn the wrench counterclockwise, the tube will rotate with the extractor, rotating to the tube was taken out.
