Formed in 1991 the Norwegian extreme metal band Enslaved has released thirteen full-length releases. "E" will be the fourteenth release from the band, their fifth on Nuclear Blast. Long heralded as innovators in the genre of extreme metal Enslaved have continually moved forward sonically while not abandoning the genre they helped invigorate.
