This 5-drawer box is made of study beech wood.The surface is varnished to give it the bright look and pleasant touch.Several improvements have been applied to this models compared with the old one that have been around for years:

1.) slightly deepened drawers to better accommodate pastels and pencils of varying sizes;
2.) the drawer frame is now 3 mm thicker hence sturdier;
3.) the bottom board of the drawers is hardened to facilitate smooth movements;
4.) replaced the old models' unnecessary whole-length support and dividing boards between drawers with hard wood-chipfootings, in order to reduce friction and use space more efficiently.These modifications aim to make it easier to take out (and put back) the drawers and spread them on the desk,a trait that will make the box handier to use especially for the more free-style artists!
