The solenoid converts electrical energy into mechanical energy in your golf cart which activates the ignition system. Without a properly functioning solenoid, your cart might not run as intended.
- Fits the Following Cart(s): This factory replacement solenoid is used on 1995-1997 48 volt electric Club Car DS Golf Carts.
- Be careful not to overtighten the nuts on the terminals or they will break and are not covered under warranty.
- Do not use a socket set! Make the nuts "hand tight with a 1/4 turn" after that. You will need to check the nuts often as they can become loose over time.
