HASSLE FREE OPERATION:
All you need is to connect the built in USB Type C male connector (input) of the adapter  to the USB C port of your  device (laptop, tablet, computer or compatible smartphones) and connect the DisplayPort cable from the monitor or output device (excluding from the package) to the DP (female) plug of the adapter.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
USB-C Smart Phones & Tablet will only work if they have DP Alt mode. Some the  TYPE C devices (smartphones and tablets) only uses MHL mode solution or SlimPort technology which will not work with this adapter.
The adapter will NOT work on Mini DisplayPort
