This package contains 10 Superfos vapor locking HDPE containers (each holds 16 oz) and lids. Perfect for storing a wide variety of materials including food and non-food items and liquids. These quart containers are lightweight (each weighs 1.5 oz) but super strong. Please note this is a pry off cap, not a screw off cap. By design, they close very tightly. To open the lid after it has been closed, we recommend that you insert a large flat-head screwdriver under the lip of the lid flat and slowly turn the screwdriver's handle 45 degrees so the lid is lifted slightly. Repeat this process every inch around the lip of the lid. The lid will then lift up easily. The diameter is 3" on the bottom (measuring from one side of the container to the other at the widest point), and 3.5" at the top (again, measuring from one side to the other at the widest point) and 4 1/8" tall (measuring from the bottom to the very top of the container). It's made of high density polyethylene (HDPE) which is able to withstand high and low temperatures and is fine for food storage.
