Sancho & Lola are rescued German pointers who love traditional bully sticks. But honestly, they sometimes get bored of them. These crispy crunchy savory bully sticks are light and airy, perfect to change things up a bit. Plus, since we believe it is better supervise your dog with treats and chews, they satisfy our need to give them a quick, high-protein treat before we leave home. Our crunchy bully sticks are a high-protein, single ingredient (100% USA beef puzzle) treat that does not contain artificial flavors, grains, growth hormones or preservatives. The outer skin, usually trimmed off a traditional bull (steer) stick, is left on which adds flavor. They are then roasted in their own juices which creates an even more savory flavor. Finicky dogs may like 'skin-on' bully's slightly more than trimmed ones. Sancho sure does crunchy bully's have been requested by customers whose dogs love bully sticks, but may not tolerate traditional versions very well. Traditional ones are baked at very low temperatures to preserve moisture. This enables them to be a longer lasting chew. However, the low temperature baking is sometimes why they can cause tummy trouble. Crunchy bully's are cooked at a slightly higher temperature. This reduces the moisture, making them a 'crunchy' treat that some dogs tolerate better.
