The sink features a thick solid 8 gauge (1/8") rim all around that sits topmount on your countertop. The rest of the sink is constructed from 16 gauge stainless steel, one of the thickest steel available for residential kitchens. Ruvati uses T-304 grade stainless steel with a 18:10 Nickel:Chromium content ensuring that your sink is completely resistant to rusting. The Tirana series is defined by square bowls and sharp zero radius inside corners that accentuate the modern look. The 3" wide rim on the back comes pre-drilled with a single hole for faucet installation. Thick heavy-duty soundguard padding and coating on the outside of the sink bowl on all sides provide sound insulation against noise and thermal insulation against condensation. The inside of the sink is finished in commercial grade brushed satin finish which adds to the beauty of the sink. The slanted bottom of the sink along with 4 drain grooves channel water perfectly towards the drain. The sink comes with bottom rinse grid that protect the sink from scratches when you place pots and dishes. The basket strainer drain is a great added functionality.
