This particular bed is made from 1260 denier polyester that is at least double the thickness of fabric of traditional beds. Although this bed is extra tough, please remember it is chew resistant, not chew proof. We understand that pet beds are not cheap and we recommend that customers with puppies or dogs that chew closely monitor their pet’s behavior as they introduce the bed. If chewing behavior exists, the dog may be teething and it may be best to wait to introduce the bed.
