The Sidewinder 3, is the perfect waterproof (not intended for operation while completely submerged in liquid) combo for 1:10 scale off-road and on-road vehicles running up to 3S Lip. It sports updated circuitry for faster response time and improved reliability. This combo now comes with our improved 4-pole, 12-slot censored motor that boasts exceptional efficiency. While the censored capabilities of the motor cannot be utilized with the Sidewinder 3 (motor will operate in sensor less mode), users will benefit as the censored motor is rebuild able (parts available soon), and this design even allows modelers to replace damaged motor wires. The Sidewinder 3 is ready to run out of the box and is programmable via your transmitter. There are also many more programmable features that may be accessed using your Windows PC and a Castle Link USB adapter (sold separately) or a Field Link card (sold separately). Drivers can tune their favorite settings such as brake and throttle curves, throttle response, drag brake and many other parameters as well as download new firmware updates and feature upgrades as they become available. This combo includes a Sidewinder 3 ESC and 1406-4600Kv censored motor. The 1406-4600kv motor is great for 2WD short course trucks on 2S Lip (geared conservatively), 1/10th 2WD Stadium trucks and buggies on 2S for general bashing and limited runs on 3S (temperatures will climb quickly on 3S). It also makes a great upgrade for 1/10th scale on-road cars for 2S and 3S use. This combo is not for use in 4WD short course trucks. This Sidewinder 3 Combo packs a lot power and will deliver exceptional response and performance right out of the box!.
