- They are great to work on 1/8" stainless steel cable array for deck railing,properly crimped it will support 200lb load. Please search for MUZATA WR01 to purchase the 1/8" stainless steel cable. If you want to use it in a coated cable, please consider 5/32" diameter loop sleeve, you may search for MUZATA CR14 to get more information.
- The wire rope are using the same diameter as the crimping sleeve hole, 1/8" stainless steel wire rope cable or smaller will fit in the sleeve
- You can join two 1/8" wires together by it, however, the joined cables should not be used for lifting or pulling heavy loads, only for security cables.
- 1/8" is the size of wire that is designed to be fed through the ferrule to be crimped. Therefore - that is the size ferrule to use if using 1/8" wire rope. You need to use the correct size ferrule for the diameter of wire rope you are using or you will not get a strong crimp that will hold over time.
