The Kyosho Audi R8 Inferno GT2, from the manufacturer that created the GT category over 20 years ago, is updated for improved performance! this popular big-scale GT machine is based on the Inferno GT2 Race Spec, and has been tuned up for even greater performance and handling, and speeds of approximately 60 mph right out of the box. While keeping many of the main chassis components unchanged, this newest version of the GT2 adopts the forward weight bias chassis configuration originally developed for the World Champion Kyosho MP9 Racing Buggy. The receiver battery and housing are moved from the rear of the chassis all the way to the front, next to the steering Servo. Additionally, the receiver box is moved forward and transverse mounted to keep its weight as far forward as possible. The result is a long wheelbase car with exceptional stability and scale, and because all of the weight is moved forward, it's got even better steering response for superior corner speed. This new “one of a kind†GT2 is unique among the GT2 RTR line-up, but it’s still driven by the powerful KE25 engine, which features a Zero-Loss pull-start, a large machined-aluminum cooling head, and a precision, easy-to-adjust two-needle slide carburetor. The powerful rear exhaust engine is fitted with a lightweight, polished aluminum header and tune pipe, which match well with the engine to create impressive power for strong acceleration and top speed, in addition to good fuel economy. The drivetrain includes an adjustable clutch to activate the automatic two-speed transmission, and it's one of the most rugged and reliable transmissions made for the category. The transmission drives the AWD drivetrain, which feature sealed bevel-gear differentials. So, this factory-authorized Audi R8 is AWD just like the full-size version.
