The other plus about the Hudson 24-Hole Flute is that since the flowers get cut so short they will last at least twice as long. Generally, a strip of mini cymbidium orchards will last 2-3 weeks and you will be able to harvest up to 14 buds from one strip. If you cut the buds off as close to the stem as possible you will prolong the life of them.

I love a low laying centerpiece over a tall and thick one any day, that way, I can look across the table and see all of my guests without a big arrangement getting in the way.
For cleaning I recommend CLR (the Calcium, Lyme and Rust Cleaner) which can be purchased about anywhere these days. Let it soak if it's really grungy, then simply wash out with warm water. I also always fill mine right up to the bottom of the holes so that I eliminate any water lines in the middle of the vase.
