Dreidel Roulette A game of chance and challenge for an unlimited number of players. The game consists of three rounds. Each player has one turn per round. Place all 12 colored wooden balls in the center of the playing surface. Spin the Dreidel. As the Dreidel spins, it will knock balls into the holes in the playing surface. Try to spin the Dreidel so that it does not knock the balls out of the playing surface. Scoring The longer the Dreidel spins, the more balls will be knocked into the 16 colored and numbered holes in the game base. Each of the holes has a different point value:1-12, 25, 50, 75, and 100. For each spin the score is the total points of all balls in the holes when the dreidel stop spinning. Deduct 10 points for each ball knocked out of the playing surface. Balls remaining on the playing surface but not in the hole at the end of the spin are worth zero. For example: A Dreidel spin results in one ball knocked off of the playing surface; 3 balls remain in the center; and 8 balls numbered 1, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 12, and 75. The players score is 111. Variation 1: In round 1, the Red balls are worth double points, if a player's spin hits them into a red hole. In round 2, the Blue balls are worth double if they land in blue holes. In round 3, the green balls are worth double. Games usually will remain competitive until the very end since a green ball in a green 100 point hole would be worth 200 points, often enabling a player to overcome an opponent's lead. Variation 2: Each player chooses a color and counts only the score from the 4 balls of that color. Variation 3: Each player choosing a color. At the end of each player's spin, the score from the 4 balls of each player's color is attributed to that player. CAUTION: THIS GAME CONTAINS VERY SMALL PARTS. IT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN YOUNGER THAN 6 YEARS OF AGE.
