Q1: How to Use this bread rising basket?

(1) Clean and dry the basket, coated thinly and evenly with flour along inside of the basket.

(2) Put a piece of dough into the rattan basket till it completely fermented to fit the basket.

(3) The pattern of the rattan cane basket clearly imprint on the fermented dough, beautiful bread mould formed.

(4) Turn over the basket, take out of the dough, and transfer it onto a baking sheet of oven.

(5) Bake the bread, clean the basket or set another dough into it, repeat the above procedure.  

Q2：What is the purpose of the linen cover?

(1) The fermenting basket can also be used as a bread basket.

(2) Place the bread dough in the basket and place on the linen insert (instead of a kitchen cloth)  

Q3: Can it be use to bake the bread?

No, these baskets are used only for proofing your bread dough just before baking.Once your bread dough has risen (proofed) then you will turn the basket over to let the dough drop gently onto another surface as it leaves a nice design on the loaf. 

Q4:How to clean and maintain the banneton proofing basket?

Scrub them out with a wire brush and hot soapy water within 2 minutes, and leave it somewhere to warm and dry after cleaning, then store it in a light well ventilated spot.

Because our banneton proofing baskets it's Hand-made product, please allow the size of each item is different between 0.1-0.8cm; besides,the baskets are made from 100% no chemical natural rattan wicker, so color difference is unavoidable.
