How does it work?
The powerful dehumidification capacity silica-gel crystals are filled with the device, which can absorb the humidity or moisture from the air in you room, lasts about 30-60 days(depends on the humidity of the environment), when the gel crystals change the color from orange to green, it needs to be recharged to refresh the dehumidification capacity of itself.
How to recharge it?
SIMPLY press the plug in the back and plug this dehumidifier to any AC wall outlet. A gentle power draw from the wall outlet delivers a bit of heat to the compartment of the gel crystals. Because the heat is from an electrical source, it contains no humidity or moisture whatsoever. The crystals therefore slowly heat up, releasing their accumulated moisture into the air. It is very important that you place the dehumidifier in a well-ventilated area, preferably next to a window, as you don't wish for the moisture to reenter the air from which it pulled it in the first place. After about 12~24 hours, the gel crystals turn ORANGE again and the dehumidifier is as good as new.
