SecurOMax USB-C (A to C) cable lets you charge your new USB Type-C enabled device using your existing USB charger. It also lets you charge your device from a USB port of your computer or laptop.

It's USB 3.1 Gen1 and USB 3.0 compatible (5Gbps) with a 56K pullup resistor so the charging current is limited to 3A (it can charge your device reasonably fast, and won't burn your charger, USB port or the device itself like some cables do).

USB Type-C connector is made using the deep-draw extrusion method (no visible seam on one side of the plug) and is encased into aluminium shell. As a result it's extremely strong as well as wear and tear resistant. Type-A connector is also molded into a solid aluminium shell for extra strength.

As per Rev 1.3 for legacy assemblies, it uses the correct 56 kOm resistor that limits the charging current to 3A. This ensures that the cable can be safely used with legacy chargers and USB ports without overloading and damaging them.
