I really like the look of shams on my pillows much more than pillowcases, but it is very difficult to find high quality, luxury cotton shams without paying a fortune. For years, I made these shams for some of the finest hotels in the world and guests would call to ask if I would sell them. Now I do!
Textile experts: the construction is 173x120 60x60 yarns, single pick construction - it doesn't get any better. Higher thread count does not mean higher quality - it just means more yarns are twisted together and the fabric is heavier. These are lightweight yet extremely durable and super soft, and will get even softer after a few washes. The fabric is sanforized (pre-shrunk), mercerized, and bio-polished. Bio-polishing is a technique used to make the fabric incredibly soft. The factory I use basically invented the process and is one of the few in the world able to make fabric feel this nice. These are made in India at the most modern, clean, and safe factory. Independent outside Inspectors are used to insure no child labor is used.
These are machine washable, but they are 100% cotton, so they may wrinkle. I recommend taking them out of the dyer just before they finish drying and folding them quickly. If you prefer, touch them with an iron and they will look fantastic
